We help compliance teams everywhere become ridiculously efficient at what they do. We are a seed-funded RegTech (Regulatory Technology) company backed by the Singaporean government’s innovation arm (SGInnovate) and Entrepreneur First, the world’s leading accelerator and we have developed MICA , a digital compliance assistant. Today MICA makes it incredibly easy for compliance teams to track, understand act on regulatory changes. Tomorrow, MICA will be an indispensable member of risk and compliance teams everywhere.

Role

You will be a cross-functional champion who gets things done! You will be responsible for advising on, developing, executing and reporting on key business processes, programs and initiatives to dramatically accelerate our success AND you will lead the development of strategies and initiatives that drive product adoption, retention and engagement with our customer base.

You work well with a diverse group of high performers, and are able to bring both an analytical and pragmatically tactical perspective to problem solving. The right candidate will be expected to eventually transition into the role of Chief of Staff for the company.

Your responsibilities include:

Operations (70%)

  • Identify and prioritize strategic opportunities to drive growth across the organization, and optimize the business in line with our strategic goals.

  • Manage the ongoing cadence of alignment, prioritization and accountability of objectives and key results (OKRs) and play a key part in supporting the CEO to keep the organization accountable for quarterly goals.

  • Lead the development of business processes and workflows to drive efficiencies.

  • Own data collection, normalization, and reporting that allows functional departments to monitor their performance and drill down to identify/analyze improvement opportunities.

  • Support the development of an operating model for the business.

Marketing (30%)

  • You will lead the development of and implementation of our marketing strategy and will build the cross- functional processes and programs to support customer marketing initiatives and drive scalable results.

  • Adopt a strong analytical approach to acquisition funnel metrics, measurement and campaign performance.

  • Responsible for allocating, investing and optimizing our marketing budget across all channels to meet performance and brand building goals.

Required skills & competencies

  • Detail oriented with strong ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills

  • Prior experience in:

    • a senior operations role in thriving SaaS start-up with high growth and scale and managing people / teams that analyze data / metrics, conduct gap analyses, create process maps, develop action plans, and lead cross-functional efforts.

    • a customer marketing role in an enterprise software environment

  • History of leading successful projects that have significantly impacted businesses.

  • Excellent leadership skills with an ability to explain complex concepts clearly while dealing with multiple people, teams, projects, and priorities.

  • Entrepreneurial personality who understands operational management and enjoys diving into the details of operations to represent our mission.

  • Someone who is comfortable and energized by working in an environment of rapid change and limited supervision and enjoys tackling ambiguous problems.

  • Interest in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and predictive analytics.

  • Comfortable using google docs, sheets and MS Office.

  • MBA preferred.
