Our Process

 

Startup selection and curation

 

Pre-screening

STEP 1

Founders to fill the form and upload their current slidepacks/URL.

'T' minus 8 weeks

STEP 2

First round of interviews with startups selected.

'T' minus 4 weeks

STEP 3

Due diligence, coaching, tailoring slidepack.

  • Select up to 7 founders and get them ready for pitching on the 'demo day';
  • and Coach the founders to polish or tailor the presentation.

'T' minus 2 weeks

STEP 4

Finalise and distribute list of startups which would present at the 'demo day'.

'T' minus 2 days

STEP 5

Final versions of the slidepacks/executive summaries to be distributed among the participating members.

 
 

Finalising investments — Process and timelines

 

We estimate that it would take about 5 weeks (from the date of the 'demo day') to close the deal(s).

WEEK 1

The 'deal sponsor' (i.e. a member who volunteers to lead the investment process) arranges follow-up diligence discussions with the relevant founder(s).

WEEK 2

The deal sponsor completes due diligence, circulates a brief due diligence presentation or report in order to solicit further interest from the members.

WEEKS 3-4

Deal sponsor considers interest from other members and negotiates deal terms.

WEEK 5

Deal closes and funds are wired to the startup.
